What an adventure this trip turned out to be.  I hope everyone who has followed my blogs will give this trip to the southern most part of our planet, a second thought.  I now have a greater appreciation of how important this continent is to our whole planets eco system.  Yes, there may be a bit of a bumpy voyage - but don't let that deter you.  The incredible landscapes sculpted by glaciers that were formed thousands of years ago, the birds and mammals that call this area home for at least part of the year, the majesty and power of the floating ice - this is what I will remember from my trip to Antarctica.  I hope my travel blog in words and photos has given you a better appreciation of this amazing place - a once in a lifetime trip.
