Maa Salama (Good Bye) Oman

What an amazing experience my trip to Oman turned out to be. This is my last blog about this beautiful country. I enjoyed the people, culture, food and opportunities for adventure. If you have never been to an Arabian country, this would certainly be a worthy first choice.

Snake Canyon

is cut into the mountains and offers a fantastic trip past waterfalls, through rock pools and over boulders. As you traverse down the canyons 2 miles you will be jumping into pools of water and swimming in caves under the mountains. At places, it is so narrow that you can barely swim between the sides of the mountain. This canyon is for those with adventurous spirit and requires a fair level of fitness.  You need to be an able swimmer and capable of climbing and jumping from boulders.  Wetsuits and climbing helmets advisable.

What a beautiful country Oman is - the villages, countryside and mostly the people. Once a mystery to me, now not so….
