Adios Panama
My stay in Panama was way to short. Four days does not allow you to travel around the country to experience the best of Panama. We did not get a chance to travel to the San Blas Islands to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean beaches and learn about the Kuna natives and their culture. But that will have to be another trip, as my itinerary has me headed to Guatemala.
New Town Panama City
I would be remiss to not provide you with a few more photos of downtown Panama City whose skyline isn’t like Casco Viejo, but a very busy urban centre with many apartment buildings and condos. Panama City has an urban population of 880,691, with over 1.5 million in its metropolitan area. If you want hyper activity, casinos and a downtown experience, consider staying downtown. My recommendation - head to Casco Viejo.
