Paradise is the term for a place of timeless harmony. Can I describe the Island of Ofu any better - no.
From a night sky where the Milkey Way seems so bright and close I could touch it, to pristine beautiful deserted beaches, to the billowing clouds that formed each night creating the most spectacular colourful sunsets - this is the timeless harmony I experienced on Ofu.
The Lonely Planet Guidebook makes reference to the option of traveling to Ofu “ to get way from the beaten path - go the dazzling Manu’a Islands and you will find a Polynesia that’s authentic, adventurous and virtually untouristed, Ofu Island “ What the guidebook left out was the word paradise - and maybe that is fortunate for this unspoiled tiny island in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean.
I'll let my photos show you this paradise, thanks for following me.
